Welcome to the Zombie Arena Project!
This game was made with the proposition of learn more about Game Optimization, Mobile Adaptation and Design Patterns.
Is a non-profit project and made to increase my portfolio!
Things i've learned so far:- All concepts learned during games released prior to this game were reviewed and solidified (you can see visiting the other games of portfolio and reading description);
- Integration between UI and player inputs;
- Use of EventSystem; Handling the interface created by Unity: IDragHandler;
- How to calculate mouse click position relative to a RectTransform;
- Synchronization of audio along with the animation;
- Animation events in Unity 3D;
- Looking for documentation to make the unity interfaces IPointerDownHandler and IPointerUpHandler work correctly;
- Code reuse efficiently and dynamically;
- Correct way to create custom interfaces to make the code scalable;
- Improved Object Pooling for various types of Game Objects;
- The importance oaf variety within the audios, to avoid repetitive effects;
- How to configure the project build;
- 3D audio manipulation for greater immersion during gameplay;
- Design Patterns;
