Zoo Jump
About
Zoo Jump was deigned for Special Needs students with limited mobility and motor skills. The goal of this game was to find a fun way to measure if students were making consistent, timely movements to activate a device (a mouse or a switch hooked up to a computer).
In the past, Zoo Jump has been used by Special Education teachers to assess students progress in making gross or fine motor movements. Students who are paralyzed below the neck will interact with the game by hitting a switch with their cheek. Students with limited finger dexterity will interact with the the game by clicking the mouse or space bar. Teachers use the timer feature to record response time in order to track student growth.
