Zoochosis reviews

This game had so much promise when they first showed it off. The premise of this game is fantastic. The Thing set in a zoo. What could go wrong? What we ended up getting was a very average horror game with no real depth. I would think maybe it was just myself that thought this was going to be a different type of game but judging from everyone else who has played it, I'm not a long. The general thought was this game would have you caring for the animals and confronting the horror elements throughout the night. The actual gameplay is a loop of doing the same thing over and over to get to a different ending. The game's tutorial is also misleading as it seems like you need to keep track of the symptoms and then cure an animal before the parasite takes over. In my experience every time I verify the needed cure, the transformation happens when I return to the animals. Some players say this happens when you 100% confirm the cure type needed. There is so little solid information out there that it's hard to tell. The story is pretty lame but it does have some twists that were cool. The game is full of bugs and generally bad UI and design. When you pick stuff up you have to be pixel perfect on the icon. There are jumpscare stings that play audio but nothing is happening in the game. There are codes that register as found but don't actually work and the in-game tracker for the game's endings is broken on PS5. That's right 25 and the thing you use to see what you have done and need to do to acquire them is busted so you can't scroll over. Good thing there isn't a trophy for it right? Wrong. I am beyond disappointed with this game. I was really expecting a cool story where you survive the night and protect the animals yet we get a loop type game more akin to a rougelike game.
