Slender Man is an amazing example of internet myths. First mentioned in a creepypasta on Something Awful in 2009, he quickly grew to be one of the most recognizable horror characters of all time. Less then a decade after his first appearence, he has inspired a real-life murder, now there's a major movie coming out, but Slender Man's way to prominence started with games.
