Akinori Nishiyama

Akinori Nishiyama is a games writer, director, producer and designer. Nishiyama has been working with SEGA, Sonic Team, DIMPS and Digital Eclipse. Nishiyama started in 1989 as the writer of Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle (1989). Next, Akinori Nishiyama worked on Phantasy Star II taking on the role of writer. Afterwards, Akinori Nishiyama worked on Phantasy Star Collection developed by SEGA in 1998. Most recently, Akinori Nishiyama was involved in the development of Sonic Unleashed. Currently, Nishiyama is developing Puyo Pop. The release date is yet to be announced.
