Makoto Shimamoto is a games writer and designer. Shimamoto has been working with Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Nintendo and Square. Shimamoto's first game was Chrono Trigger published by Square Enix for PC, iOS, Android and Nintendo DS in 1995. Next, Makoto Shimamoto worked on Threads of Fate (1999) taking on the role of designer. Afterwards, Makoto Shimamoto worked on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild developed by Nintendo in 2017. Most recently, Makoto Shimamoto was involved in the development of Frozen Flame.
