Michael R. Bates

Michael R. Bates is a games artist. Bates has been working with Aspyr Media, Firaxis, Inc. and MicroProse Software. Bates's first game was Hyperspeed published by Nightdive Studios for PC, macOS and Linux in 1990. Next, Michael R. Bates worked on M1 Tank Platoon II taking on the role of artist. Most recently, Michael R. Bates was involved in the development of Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth.
