Motomu Toriyama is a games writer and director. Toriyama has been working with Square Enix, Square, Double Helix Games and ブロードメディアGC株式会社. Toriyama's first game was Bahamut Lagoon published by Square for SNES in 1996. Next, Motomu Toriyama worked on Racing Lagoon taking on the role of writer. Toriyama also worked on Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings developed by Square Enix for Nintendo DS. Most lately, Motomu Toriyama worked on Final Fantasy VII. Currently, Toriyama is developing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth with Square Enix. It is set to release in 2024.
