About

Let's super high jump through the screen!

6180 the moon is a platformer game with a unique mechanic. It offers a fresh, unseen game play style by connecting the top and bottom of the screen. This allows in a mechanic with delightfully long jumps and no fear of "slipping" to death.

In addition to the unique gameplay, 6180 the moon delivers a unique storyline. The Sun has gone. The Moon sets off on a journey to find the Sun. Along the journey will be hazardous courses and deep realizations.

6180 the moon reviews and comments

Its fine... A little too minimalist and basic for its own good at times but its short length prevents that from being a real issue. Overall it is worth playing through but its not something you'll really remember.

My Conclusion of the Game is below, if the detailed Text here is too long, and you roughly want to have the Strengths and Weaknesses of the Game listed. Plot The Sun is gone, and People are asking the Moon for Help finding it. The Moon now sets out in search of the Sun, and encounters planet Earth, Venus and Mercury along the way. This Plot sounds a lot like something out of a Children's Book, and actually that seemed like that to Me while playing, but that's fine. 6180 the moon is a Game to Relax, and does not need a profound Action. And even though the Plot was very light fare, even I had to Chuckle every now and then as an Adult. It goes without saying that the Plot and Gameplay of the Game would never withstand scientific Scrutiny ... Gameplay In the Levels of 6180 the moon, as the Moon, you traverse the inner Solar System (which is not nearly as empty as the Term World space suggests). Horizontal Levels attempt to avoid Obstacles and reach the Goal. A special Mechanic is that the top and bottom edges of the Screen are connected to each other. This means: If you fall out of the Picture at the bottom, you fall back in from the top, and vice versa. This allows for new Possibilities in terms of solving the Puzzles. Every now and then, new Elements are sprinkled in, such as Drops of light, which reset the Moon's Pulse To zero, allowing you to create a little more Jumps. All in all, the Game is not very difficult, but here I want to turn a Blind eye, because heavier Puzzles probably would not have suited the general Tone of the Game. Atmosphere The Atmosphere can be summed up in one Word: Relaxing. The Look is minimalist and is reminiscent of a started Night sky whose only Light comes from those Same stars. This awakens a Sense of Calm and Peacefulness. Acoustically accompanied by soft and slow sounds, which come from only a few Instruments at a time, and thus do not push themselves too much into the Foreground. So you can just switch off. This Type of Presentation, combined with the shallow Action, creates a very pleasant and carefree atmosphere. Weaknesses Two Things unfortunately do not fit together, in my Opinion, and that are the Duration Of the game and the Purchase Price. The Price of £3.99 Would be appropriate for a longer game, or vice versa, the Duration Of the game (with me just under 99 minutes for all The Achievements) for a cheaper Game. Verdict/TL; DR 6180 the moon is ideal for Relaxing. The minimalist Presentation and easy-to-digest Action Awaken a feeling of Calm and Peacefulness, which also clouds over the not very difficult puzzles. However, due to the short Duration of the game in Combination with the Purchase Price, I recommend waiting for a Sale.
