A Raven Monologue
About
Dearest Sir Raven,
Do you still wander around without end?
Crafting colors under the still and silent
Not knowing I'm waiting here alone without a friend
Dearest Sir Raven,
When you are around, would you mind to stop by?
Just a hello, just a moment
To let me savor the memories before our goodbye
Dearest Sir Raven,
Let us go home
To the place devoid of reality frame
Where I shall watch over us even without a logical form
A Raven Monologue is a short experimental silent story about a raven that does not know how to croak and his relationship with the people in the town.
This experiment was part of #MojikenCamp2, an internal upgrade program by Mojiken Studio to experiment with how to tell stories or to communicate an experience using a constrained work of interactive art.

A "game" with a beautiful drawing, very short (a few minutes) but with a beautiful sad story and a beautiful music. Very poetic. I strongly advise for those who likes the "games" indie neat style.
A good experience.
PS: (I say "game" because it's more of a animated picture sequence that we scroll but well it's worth it).

This game is amazing. I was quite septic but I did not manage to get carried away by the atmosphere and the history.
This game is not a game, it is a kind of work that resurfaces feelings that are usually fled to the bottom of us. This story remakes us feel human and sensitive.
Very short game, but that deserves a big Bravo!

This is not a game. Except if you consider that clicking on the arrow ' next ' makes it a game... It's like browsing his photos. For me this is not a game. However, the designs are very beautiful and the music is in perfect agreement with the ambiance. I recommend to spend a few minutes quiet with beautiful pictures and beautiful music. But if you want to ' play ', go your way on this one.

A Raven Monologue surprised me a lot. I discovered the Game at Steam by Accident and started it. From a drawing Style, a beautiful Work. It tells a Story. A damn short story, the Meaning of which I only understood after some Research. This is helped by the Lyrics of the beautiful Song, which can be heard in the Background all the Time.
If you like to look For games with a deeper Meaning, you have found something small fine at A Ravens Monologue.

Hmmm... It's very short, it's free. I like the Drawings very well and the Music is beautiful. You should take The 3 Minutes short and look in. The Interpretation comes a bit to every human Being itself, I'd like to think. I've read a few in the Comments, but only partially agree with them.
I'm still going to Worry about the Raven. Maybe it wasn't the right Time to Play either, as there are more Question Marks left behind at the moment. However, due to the Size of the "Game" (no Interactions possible), you can't do anything wrong.

I am seriously crying and I don't even know why. This is just great. It goes from "I love the artwork and the entire Game design" to "That went so deep so quickly"
The Story is going on for Eternity (it's not repeating, it just never stops) and you can think about it in any Way. The Developers didn't gave us a clue about what this Game is really about. So every Theory could be correct.
The the Soundtrack of this Game is soooo great. I was litteraly half an hour in the menu screen because I was afraid the music would turn off in the actuall Story. Which is not the Chase. Espacially because of the Music I was crying the entire time.
So great.
I am recommending it for everyone. Thumbs Up.
