Abyss Emblem

Abyss emblem is a tactical turn-based game where you control three characters on a 2D grid and fight against bosses in a boss rush mode, in a GameBoy Color style like.

The game was made on the occasion of the retro jam 2021 and try to adapt the tactical movement mechanism of games like Fire emblem .
The game has no music, so feel free to play a playlist on the side.

Controls :

Up,Down,Left and Right : WSAD or Arrows keys.

Button A : Alt, z, j, 3

Button B : Control, k, x, 2

Start : Enter, .

Select : Shift, 0

The game was developed with GB studio, so it is technically playable on GB Color with a ROM.

The boss sprites are based on a sprite sheet (modified for the game) made by Stephen "Redshrike" Challener, MrBeast, Surt, Blarumyrran, Sharm, Zabin under the CC BY 3.0 .
