Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy reviews and comments

A very strange game, like an interesting story, but in another plan in it all silly and understandable, like interesting puzzles, but with the Yutuba pass only, kind of free, but the norm for such a game, the resolution is not necessary and all merge, in children played, too complicated, Even for geniuses, because the authors themselves thought how to insert their puzzles as if to confuse, only from this game is a mess... Unfortunately

Observing The first works of creators, I do not cease to be surprised by the absence of the perfection in them. You will Never guess where the man started, and how he got on the way, which brings him money and pleasure. And what's up to Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy, it's certainly a pressing quality. She would never be in my library, if not for the kit, which included more decent games about Sherlock Holmes.

I was thinking why the game is a Hayyat. Well, you have dropped it for free, so why D3D the hooks in the window with the help of DXWind, but still so crooked? Even the settings to run could not do well-relative ways to prescribe not fate, not to mention the choice of the version. By The import table it is clear that there DX below 9 (more precisely-8, as evidenced by the function DirectDrawCreate). For those who want to play Full-screen mode or even run it-remove from the folder with the game D3d9/DDraw/Dxwnd. dll and Dxwnd. Dxw. All the modules for rendering D3D will be picked up from the system directory. DXWind can be used somewhere else, but here I do not advise. -Do not minimize it through Alt-Tab.

So now where do I start? So first the negative Aspects to the Game:-graphics (however, it should be noted that this Game was released in 2002-but the Cutscenes are amazingly good)-after some Scenes there may be a crash In the game-some Puzzles are very difficult to solve (although they are Are obvious), since you can very quickly overlook objects-in addition, some Puzzles do not have anything directly to do with the Events of the Story (Portait by Holmes?)-Criticism of Steam or whoever tried to make the Game run on newer Systems-the m It DXWND doesn't work the way it's supposed to work:D But this Game did not deserve more negative Criticism. Among the positive Aspects: + Free + It's damn Again Sherlock Holmes!! + An interesting and coherent Story (19Th Century-Great Britain-Egypt-Archeology-Mummies-traps) + Some Time Pressure in some Places because you have to ponder + Good game mechanics In conclusion to the Game I can say that it is a great pity that you do not have to Series gets to run the Game on newer Systems without Any problems, as it would be interesting for any Sherlock Holmes fan to have played this, as it can also be obtained free of charge.
