The Characters, as Jane Jensen is common, are utterly authentic, as is the Setting and the Mood. Some smaller Bugs are still inside, but they hardly interfere with the Game Mechanics. The Concept of Gabriel Knight and the old Parts remains absolutely intact; So she remains true to her Story across the Board. I also particularly think that the Music is the same, only reworked. This makes things even more "intense." Whether the younger Generation enjoys the game as much As "ours" I can't judge. But in my Youth I played the GK and these Sierra times are still unmatched for me today. Verdict: Jane Jensen hats still on it! Make something old new, and very successful! Is she trying again with Parts 2 and 3? Stay to hope =)

Funny, you recognize Sierras problems that are sometimes sickly detailed to solve. But when I see the original sketches in the game, I wish they had ported the graphics straight off, or made as in the Monkey Island remake and offered the game mode with both original graphics and new. People and especially the faces in 3D become ridiculously ugly sometimes, 16 bit graphics get better if you can't animate and render at Pixar level.

I think I've never been so pleased about a Game and have never bought any new Unlocking so quickly and cheerfully. Gabriel Knight Sins of the fathers a) in modern Garb and b) for the iPad-which is like Birthday and Christmas together. The tough adventure puzzle diet of 1993 has been somewhat gentler and has been brought into the Present Time, both graphically and enigratiently, but still (or precisely because of it) good stuff for Fans of classic Graphic Adventures with a Yearning for intelligent Puzzles, complex Stories and Games that come across like playable Novels. Fans of the ingeniously pixelated Original are thrown from one beautiful Memory to the next. GK 2 and 3 modernized in the same Way and prepared for the iPad-HACH would be wonderful!!! This may also cost something. The Payment Model with the Unlocking of 3-4 Chapters for an Amount X I found practical and pleasant. I'm hoping for a Reunion with Baron of Glower, Lady Howard and all the others-HACH would be nice!!!
