About

Fantastic hidden object puzzle adventure game from the creators of Enigmatis and Grim Legends!

Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily is a captivating blend of hidden object challenges, puzzle solving, and daring detective work.

When a grim murder interrupts a private detective's vacation at the very gate to the hotel at which she was going to stay, she puts her plans for R&R on hold and sets out to do what she does best: solve violent crimes. All she has to go on is a single clue: a mysterious paper lily attached to the victim's frozen body. Could it be the killer's calling card?

Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily features more than 30 stunning hand-painted hidden object scenes set within a snowy environment!

Cut off by a blizzard and left to her own devices, the protagonist will need to put her detective skills to work as she questions possible witnesses, searches for clues, and follows a trail that leads her deep into the dirty dealings of a small town filled with big fish and other enigmatic characters.

Find clues in the game's unique Detective Mode to solve the mystery!

Was the tragic death of a young journalist, Lilly, a few years back only an accident, or was it somehow connected to the mysterious new murder? Is the killer trying to send a sinister message? If so, why, and to whom?

Surprising puzzles and unexpected twists!

As it turns out, there's more to the grim story than meets the eye, and not everyone at the hotel is who they appear to be. Will the private investigator manage to track down the culprit?

First of all: I love the artifex game series. The Graphics and Stories I still find in these games best and it's always fun to play these. To play: I thought it was really great. Many Puzzles and some Action make this game a real fun for diehard fans but also newcomer. I am particularly enthusiastic about the fact that we are set in a kind of "Sherlock Holmes" and are allowed to play Detectives. Great game

Once again-as expected-a super game! :D I haven't found an Arti-Mundi Game so far which I don't like. : c I'm more than happy about that, of course ... xD I like the Story here very much! :D The Idea has also been well brought across! :D The crime scene puzzles are my favorite Moments * u * (If you have to reenact the Crime scene). Once again, there's nothing to complain about-Story super-Graphics top-Control as usual-Music as always beautiful ~ Recommended at all times (as are all other Artifex Mundi Games too! xD)

Just ghastly! The Game has a lot Of Translation errors, too simple puzzles, a very short Playing Time, sometimes untangled intermediate Sequences (usually they are, therefore it seems funny), also partly missing Sound Effects (Eg: Engine Noise) and sometimes missing Info about Marted Places (is not necessarily necessary places, but has a negative Effect on the Atmosphere). Sometimes you get almost Headaches like stupid the Story develops or the Game tries to build Tension. The missing Outputs described above multiply towards the End of the Game. Presumably, the Developers had too little Time here. The only Positive Thing that struck me were the sometimes really good sound effects (even if some were missing ^ ^). Even if you like this Type of Game you have to advise. There are significantly better ones!

(o) A slightly different Hidden Object game, with interesting new Elements such as the temporal reconstruction of Events. I Don't Like it that way, but it's something new. I rate That as neutral. (+) Beautifully drawn Scenes and especially the Winter Landscape with animated Snow. (+) Some combination tasks are very easy, but many of them have also been very pleasing, for example in the Laboratory. (-) The clickable Areas around the Objects are far too large. If you Click on a Neighbor Object of the already found, you end up with the already found. Here, the Separation should have been tighter, so unfortunately it annoys. (-) The Translation is sometimes very bumpy and often seems strange. Sometimes the Translation gives no Meaning at all. (-) Both the Hidden Object puzzles with Object names and the Search with objects to be found are really very simple. Conclusion: If you get it cheap, you can play it. If the many Shortcomings were not, I would still recommend it. So with a heavy Heart I have to advise against the Purchase at the Normal Price, which I am really sorry about because of the beautifully drawn Scenes.
