About

Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink is an adventure game in the steampunk genre. It is a detective drama featuring action elements such espionage, monster battles and even hang-gliding!
A continuing string of strange earthquakes are causing the world’s cities to crumble to ruin. Dr. Ambrose Ink—one of the foremost minds of the technological revolution—hopes to expose the underlying cause of this supernatural phenomenon.
His research leads him to Hochwald, a town nestled high in the mountains near the mysterious Barber family castle. Yet, shortly after arriving at the estate, Dr. Ink disappears.
It’s up to Dr. Ink’s longtime friend and confidante, Agent Evangeline Glass to save Dr. Ink and reveal what is causing the earthquakes. With only a mechanical raven to guide her, she must storm the well-secured castle and face the General Engineer of Gottland.

Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink reviews and comments

Right now, I'm playing through my Hidden Object collection. Well, Clockwork Tales is a very fair Game. By this I mean that the Graphics are good enough to recognize the Items without any Problems and also not be searched for Things that are for the most Part obscured by others. The Story behind the Game could be quite interesting, but the Programmers actually gave everything away here, especially the Ending is unsatisfactory. Also, with just under 5 Hours Of play inclusive Find all Bonus Bugs, play through the bonus level and some Breaks the Game is extremely short. So I can only recommend it to someone who wants to get a taste Of these Hidden Obmallows and when the Game is set down, after all, it's a lot of Fun and cheaper than going to The Cinema.

The unusual Events in the small Mountain Village of Hochwald, Tempt Dr. Ink to carry out Research. But he cannot solve this Case on his own, but Agent Glass is already informed. Overall, Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink offers an interesting Backstory that is not very complex, but offers good Entertainment. Genre-typical There are Logic Tasks, as well as some Hidden Object tasks, all of which have been creatively designed. The Difficulty of the Puzzles moves at a slight to medium level without overtaxing the Player. Genre fans should get through the Main Story in just over 3 to 4 Hours, with bonus duties with Dr Ink Providing an extra 20 To 30 minutes of Play Fun. As a Criticism, the Use of the small Vapour bird Matthew is too sporadic-there would have been additional Potential here. Also, some Speakers are rather hard to bear, with Agent Glass and Dr Ink set to music very well. The Language Interludes of the Soldiers of the General engineer can also be heard wittily, as they speak a broken English with German Terms. As usual, Artifex Mundi delivers premium quality in the Wimmelaut-made/Adventure area, which is also due to the great Backgrounds. Friends of quiet Adventures should definitely risk a Look.

One of the first Artifex productions, but full of quality. Even if the Italian language is missing, however it can be played with satisfaction using one of the languages that are closest to it (I used Spanish). Nothing to complain: engaging story in steampunk style, scenes with hidden objects easy to deal with, complicated mini-games at the right point, well-made videos, as well as music and images. The bonus chapter is simple but still appreciable. Very nice interaction with Matthew, a mechanical bird that will help you on several occasions. Overall, I recommend it. Obviously, for us Italians it is worth buying if at a discounted price
