Acan's Call: Act 1 reviews and comments

A very short but free Game. It took me about 15 Minutes to get to the End. But what can you expect at this Time? -A really good Graphic for current VR titles-Combat System with Sword and Shield. You can block and parry what also works wonderfully-A chilling Cave with Skeletons that want to pick you up-Gems to collect as a Kind of "Currency system" for "Buying" keys or measuring Weapons-An Impression of how to look later RPG can imagine it in VR conclusion: I really enjoyed the 15 Minutes, especially The Fights succeeded. The Sword drifles away every now and then, if you want to collect the Gems from Chests or Boxes with the Tip of the Sword, but is no longer bad and only disturbs little. What should be in Mind in any case is the Fact that Reality has rooms with Walls. Unfortunately, in the Zeal of the Fight you forget this very quickly and so I hit my Controller lightly against the Wall (and I even have only a single One in my Play area 2, 2 mx2.2m). So Be prepared not only to have to fight in front of you, but also now and then behind you! Clear Recommendation, because it's free anyway!

Very nice, if short, experience. Act 1 of Acan's Call is unfortunately very short, but it demonstrates very well what a VR Hack and Slash can look like. The Player finds himself in a Dungeon from which he has to fight his Way free. In order to be able to open Doors and continue to get through the very linear level, the Player looks for Keys. Rubies and Sapphires are also collected In each room. In addition to a simple Inventory display, there is only one advert Left for Health. Both float in Space and move with the Player's Direction of view. The Fight is pretty well done, although opponents are still quite stereotypical. But the Sword Guidance has been excellently implemented, even for Windows Mixed Reality Controller. In Fights against several Opponents, one is quite physically challenged. After 20 Minutes of Play I was well warmed up. Although the Graphics are kept simple, the Immersion is good. In my Efforts to hit an Opponent after pulling out a bit, I unfortunately beat the right Controller against the Facility and with a lot of Momentum. I had simply forgotten that I was moving in my Room, not in a spacious Cave. Unfortunately, there is no Story in this "Demo," nor is there a Tutorial. The few Hints you get in the first Room, along with some intuitive trying, were enough to understand the Game Mechanics. I found this the best Promising Thing I've seen in VR so far. And I'm excited to see what happens in Act 2.
