It was supposed to be a pleasant and average boat trip. A vacation of sorts, so his sister could visit a place she'd always wanted to see.
Of course, it doesn't go as planned.
A shipwreck. He wakes up on an uninhabited island. His sister is nowhere to be found.
Today just isn't his day.

In Adrift, you play as Donicus. He and his sister Teriny were taking a ship to another kingdom, one she'd always wanted to visit. The ship wrecks, and he is knocked unconscious. When he wakes up, he is on the shore of an unidentified island. From there, explore the island, gather resources, and uncover the truth of the strange ruins dotted across it.

Adrift takes inspiration from the Ys series.
