About

A game inspired on Egyptian mythology, consist of two different gameplay types, finished the survival-style open world game map and complete the objectives to access the various pyramids where the gameplay changes radically, explores the various dungeons and survive traps. Find the exit and seals the various pyramids to escape from Egyptian gods who try in every way to block you and keep you from escaping away..

Aegyptus is an open world adventure with elements of survival and enigmas, climatic events and a totally hand-drawn story with comics, you're alone in the desert and you have to find a way to escape, search for water springs for not dehydrate yourself, find a way to enter the pyramid and you'll be catapulted into an Egyptian dungeon where in addition to avoid deadly traps you have to escape from anubis fury, the game proposes three totally different gameplay styles alternating: survival, deadly dungeons Full of mortal traps and escape.

. The desert, a huge freely explored borderless map
. Day night cycle in real time
. First part of the story hand drawn on paper
. Rain climatic event that affects the gameplay (water sources fill in during rains but exhaust with the heat of the desert)
. Possibility to change visuals between first and third person
. Complete hud with stamina, dehydration, batteries and updated targets
. Pause menu with keyboard/gamepad commands (actually not configurable)
. Over 50 sounds made for the actions of the main character and nice sound for the desert atmosphere

. 4 complete puzzles to solve in order to enter the first pyramid
. Footprints in real-time terrain so as not to get lost in the desert
. Torch to be charged with batteries to fight the night
. Titans(giant worms)

Currently aegyptus is in the prealpha version and I am working on content that will be released gradually through future patches to make gaming experience even more immersive and addictive.

. 3 dungeons within their respective pyramids with over 20 different types of traps
. A lot of original hand-made paper designs that will tell the story's evolution and will also be incorporated into gameplay for events such as death, advice and more
. 2 Egyptians boss(anubis and horus) trying to stop at some parts of the dungeons
. Quick time events in certain sections of the game
. Steam achievements
. Steam cards

AEGYPTUS reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Italian
Product received for free Early Access Review EDIT i Wanted to write a small response to the developer who wrote me under my review:-Ban The screen you can do it and you did it because despite having the private profile visible only to me, you reported me the U Niche screens that were present in your games (MORTOS and AEGYPTUS) so it's useless to deny it. -"If you do not like the product Faber no one obliges you to buy it" in fact the product you sent me through a group of Steam curator, no one forces you to give copies to the editors. -"I recommend but read the inscription early access in the Steam store before you spend your money, this way you will avoid to find yourself in the account games that you believe complete while instead are developing" To this statement I leave the Discussion I had via the developer http://steamcommunity.com/app/675130/discussions/0/1699415798767750852 Ps: I was so rude that I got banned from the hub of Aegyptus after this discussion said this let's start with the review REVIEW This Game I'm not particularly liking it. I know it's an early access, but for now I try to judge the game itself more than its main problems (which I Will list after in the form of hint). We Start from the first level that is "difficult" for 3 elements:-The fact of having to search the water every now and then otherwise you risk dying thirsty. -The fact of being attentive to a giant worm that randomly hits the surrounding area. -The fact of staying awake... And this I tell the real player. The map is gigantic, but the main problem is the fact that there are no obstacles other than those mentioned above. The water Sometimes you can recover in certain types of "statues" and the worm can rarely hit you, so it will be a monstrous boredom. Another problem with this game are the goals that you give, do not explain almost nothing. For Example: The first objective of the game is "Get moving"... One does not understand well what exactly should do, except when you open the map of the game. The game, however, does not mention that you have a map, you will find only when you pause to see the commands of the game. The main purpose will be to find 3 swords in this huge level, where the map indicates more or less their position. Once obtained we must make "a sacrifice for Anubis" and this also does not explain anything. But at least the map can help us since it indicates a place to go (although with Anubis at the end had nothing to do). Then you have to retrieve a key in another place, and then go into the pyramid to use the key. Unfortunately in my game it was buggy since I used all the possible buttons to interact with the pyramid, but of this I can not complain too much, it is still an early access so there is that can keep problems of this type. I wrote it more than anything else to ask the developer to "Fixare" this problem. However, once you have done these steps you will be in the second level, which is more varied compared to the first level where you only had to walk. Here the level design is done a little better, at least you have to be careful of the traps (in addition to the water to find). The objectives will be the same: Even here you will have to find the 3 swords hidden in the level to make "a sacrifice for Anubis" to find then a hidden key and finally finding the exit. CONCLUSION Judging by these 2 levels seems really poor content as well as being done poorly, so at first glance I would advise against buying Steam to anyone for a simple reason. On Steam Games of this type there are really too many, it is full, and very rarely you find something of a decent pelino. I can Not find high merits to be assessed the purchase to a user of Steam. I Finish writing 2 types of hints, what to improve in terms of gameplay and what to improve for the technical side. Game gameplay Tips:-Write somewhere that you have a map with you. -Write more specific goals. -Add variety to the first level, such as secondary monsters. -Increase The duration of the day/night cycle slightly (it is really very fast the time span). -Besides adding water, it would be nice to also put a hunger bar. Technical Tips to fix during the early access. -Put absolutely options where you can disable/activate the VSync and change the brightness and range. -Put a rescue function. -A configuration for game-mapping commands. -Fix the battery of the "torch" (will always be full without ever lowering for a good amount of time, exceeded that lapse the torch will consume in 5 seconds leaving you without battery). -Improve a little the animations of the protagonist
