About

After Reset RPG is an old-school hardcore sci-fi post-apocalyptic roleplaying game. You can expect: a post-apocalyptic open world developed with scientific realism, a nonlinear story with the freedom of choice and a ton of branches and endings, and hardcore game mechanics in the best traditions of classic CRPGs. Explore the devastated ruins of the dead planet and forge your story, Commander!'THE FALL OF GYES' GRAPHIC NOVELA free preview of our graphic novel "The Fall of Gyes", prequeling the game, can be found in your Steam installation location for After Reset RPG (e.g. C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\After Reset RPG).KEEP IN MINDThe current version of the Prologue is not finished yet. By purchasing our Early Access you are formally buying the game in current stage of development and any further updates till the final version. Although, the most important - you are actually supporting the development of our game and its quality.

Beyond that, feel free to check our first tech build which we made back in 2014 for Win/Mac/Lin: for free on Steam.

The build of the game you are running includes:
  • core of our the CRRPG game mechanics (please, read the Advanced Player's Guide to know more about our SACPIC mechanics);
  • character creation (that is intuitive if you dig Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Neverwiner Nights series or/and Fallout 1&2);
  • intro and campaign movies;
  • 5 decent locations for the Prologue;
  • classic top-down 3d mouse/keyboard character controllers;
  • apparel mechanics;
  • core of the combat mechanics;
  • dynamic charlist mechanics;
  • fog-of-war mechanics;
  • inventory mechanics;
  • looting mechanics;
  • movement and interaction mechanics;
  • skills using mechanics;
  • highlighting system;
  • tag/identification system;
  • 100+ pages of lore, descriptions and dialogs;
  • a bunch of quests for the prologue (main, side, hidden);
  • 20+ of unique lore records discoverable during the prologue (main, side, hidden);
  • non-linear voiced dialogs for the prologue;
  • proper cut-scenes for the prologue;
  • friendly, neutral and hostile NPC's;
  • etc.

We expand and grow up this builds for Win/Lin/Mac as our joint 'child' with every coming patch based on and rooted by your support.
To track our progress from the beginning up to today, please, read CURRENT WORK IN PROGRESS discussion and your PATCHNOTES.TXT.

BY PURCHASING EARLY ACCESS YOU ARE REALLY SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR GAME AND ITS QUALITY.
THANK YOU! THIS GAME WOULD NEVER BECOME A REALITY WITHOUT SUCH GAMERS/BACKERS LIKE YOU.

After Reset RPG is currently in Early Access on Steam. With a fully transparent approach to game design and development we showed through the whole time of development and being the same gamers like the most of you, we work on RPG of our dream. After Reset RPG: Early Access is your chance to bring our mutual dream to reality.

As you can see on our official we site, since the beginning we've toiled and released transparent updates every 1-2 months. Those who choose to purchase Early Access should anticipate an evolving feature set, bugs, incomplete content, missing features, and potentially game breaking issues. Early Access is designed for those wishing to support the ongoing development of After Reset RPG and be a part of shaping its future.

Thanks for your support and thanks for rooting for us, guys!
We've never reached the stage we're in without your support, trust, patience and faith.

Sincerely,
Richard.

After Reset RPG reviews and comments

Early Access Review Miniupdate: Not for much longer and we have the Year 2019 ... And almost nothing has happened since my first Text in 2016, and it never will. Just a shame Steam doesn't do anything ... December 2016 (See updates below) Note: Don't buy any Way! I supported this Game years ago on Kickstarter. The scheduled Final-Release Date was 2017. Today there is not even a playable Game. There are Parts of the Starting Bunker Where you can walk around and partly Have Dialogues with a Machine. There are no NPCs and the Game is completely buggated. Skills such as Locks can only be used 3x-so the Game is unplayable in 90% of cases, because you can't even get out of the first Part of the Bunker system, because the Skills can no longer be used. There have been monthly Updates for almost a year. Every three To four months a few Changes come and an Update is published-the Message always says something of monthly Updates-total Nonsense. A Mini-update is only made every 3 Months to keep People at laune and claw the Coal of new Users. Mr Nixxon is a Scammer. He has put in our Coal and nothing is being done about the Project except holding us on. The ultimate Proof is that our dear Mr Nixxon Preferred to Have launched his second Game project on Kickstarter-a completely new Game for which he wants Money. So He starts a completely new Project even though the first one is not even ready!? No sore-it's been three Years since most of us chilled our Money into his Throat. Surely everything has already been confused, costed or landed with any Hookers. UPDATE: April 2017-Early October, it said the Introductory sequence will be ready at the End of October. Now we have April-6 Months later and it's still not finished. There was no new News either-so much on the Subject of "monthly updates." UPDATE: November 2017-Since my last Update, things haven't fundamentally changed. Richard made an honest Comment in the Discussion Area for the Very first Time in which, instead of empty Promises, he admitted that he has run out of money to pay even a single Developer for more than half a year. The only Developer in the Project doesn't seem to be particularly experienced, not working much on it and just gives empty Promises of himself-I'm not even sure if he's paid by Richard And have more of the Feeling that it's a Hobby Programmer Who doesn't actually have Time or is still a Student or a Student. In Addition, Richard wrote that the Programmer seemingly has his own Head and prefers to screw around the Engine rather than take care of the Game itself. It now seems absolutely hopeless that the Project can ever be completed and so slowly one naturally asks the Question of how long Steam still keeps his Feet still before they take action and banish the Game from here. Once the Case Occurs, the After Reset is definitely buried forever.
