About

The fourth game in the post-apocalyptic action RPG series from Bethesda studious brings players back to the retro-future. After customizing the facial features of the character, players will be admitted to the Vault 111 with their family, and tricked into entering the cryogenic capsule. After the rude awakening after the unknown amount of time has passed, the child is separated from the parents and the loving partner is killed in front of them – the main quest is settled. Now there’s only the giant open world to explore. Fallout 4 introduces the mechanics of settlement building, where players can build their own little town. Gathering material for crafting and building brings more “survival” elements into the old formula. Within their own settlements, players will be able to build all needed utilities, from storage spaces to power armor stations. Visual upgrade from the previous game brings life to what used to be brown wastelands, now filled with details and color.

Fallout 4 reviews and comments

«Fallout 4» - is a game that noticeably departs from the classic canon of the series and places a strong emphasis on entertainment and player freedom. It’s no longer just a post-apocalyptic RPG, but a full-fledged sandbox where everyone can find something they enjoy.

Crafting and Modifications:
Weapons – Build your arsenal from scavenged materials. Upgrade, modify, experiment. Customize your gun to fit your playstyle.

Armor – Become a blacksmith and create unique armor pieces, enhancing them to their limits.

Building - Construct your own safe haven in the ruins. Manage resources, build homes, and protect your settlers.

Farming - Grow food, develop infrastructure, and create thriving communities.

Quests and Exploration:
The main story and side quests offer deep immersion into the world—but following the storyline is just one of dozens of ways to spend your time. The game features four major factions, each with its own philosophy, ideology, and unique ending.

Conclusion:
«Fallout 4» - is a sandbox game. Some players will build, others will explore the ruins of Boston, and some will fine-tune every bolt in their arsenal. Everyone will find something for themselves.
«OST on repeat»
exceptional if you mod the shit out of it
I'd rather watch the same episode of Dr Phil on repeat before touching this again. 4/10

«Blew my mind»
Base building sucks, everything else rules.
Plunging into the world of the apocalypse is pleasant as always. The game world is well filled with nice little things and funny characters. If you do not find fault with the shortcomings, you can enjoy it.
This is actually kinda trash. World is pretty uninteresting, laughable focus on loot - most of it LITERAL junk - and most side quests are largely just "go to location and fight shooty guys or 28 Days Later zombies. Later orcs w/guns will be introduced." There's just nothing TO this game. Even the story is just absurd and that's before the lack of dialogue options, meaningful choices, or any semblance of verisimilitude.

It also is nothing like Boston. Like would people seriously remember neighborhood names and that Massachusetts is called a "Commonwealth" but forget what Fenway Park of all places is called? Doesn't meet the standards set by New Vegas for story or reactivity, doesn't meet the standards even Skyrim and Fallout 3 set for sense of place and worldbuilding. Just bad.
«Waste of time»
To be honest, I was not impressed. I don't understand what all the fuss is about. The game is okay to play once =(
