About

Albion Online is a sandbox MMORPG set in an open medieval fantasy world. The game features a player-driven economy where nearly every item is player-crafted. Combine armor pieces and weapons suited to your playstyle in a unique, classless "you are what you wear" system. Explore the world, take on other adventurers in thrilling battles, conquer territories, and build a home.
Craft. Trade. Conquer.
Dive in now and become part of a living fantasy world where everybody matters.Key Features
From basic tools and clothes to mighty armors and powerful weapons – nearly every item in the game is crafted by players, in player-constructed buildings, from resources gathered by players. Buy, sell, and trade with other players at local marketplaces all across the world of Albion. Craft rare and powerful items, then sell them to the highest bidder and grow your fortune.
With Albion Online's classless combat system, switching playstyles is as easy as switching gear. Test out new equipment anytime and swap out weapons, armor, and mounts to suit any situation. Hone your character’s skills by crafting new items, or by simply using your favorite equipment.
From solo to small-group to large-scale battles, you'll need strategy, tactics and skill to prevail. Test your skills against other adventurers in high-risk, high-reward full-loot fights, and use every tactic at your disposal to emerge victorious.
Join a guild and carve out your own piece of Albion in tactical guild-versus-guild battles. Take over territories for access to incredible resources. Build guild halls and crafting stations, and conquer entire cities to levy taxes and grow your wealth. Track your guild's progress on a constantly-updated leaderboard, and take on leadership roles to bring your guild to new heights of glory.
Claim a city plot or private island and make it your own. Plant crops to sell or craft into food, raise your own livestock and mounts, and place crafting stations for other players to use for a fee. Stock your house with custom furniture and trophies, build chests to store your growing collection of loot, and hire laborers to keep everything at your homestead running smoothly.
From small scouting bands to massive bosses, from dungeons to full-blown faction bases, the inhabitants of Albion’s open world await your challenge. Explore five beautiful biomes, each with its own challenges. Take on six different factions, each with unique enemies that require their own strategy. Partake in solo or group expeditions – or seek out the ultimate thrill by facing demons and other players alike in Hellgates.
Albion Online is a true cross-platform MMO experience. Whether you prefer Windows, Mac, Linux, or even Android or iOS (mobile currently in beta), one account lets you play on all platforms, with all players on a single shared server. Forge alliances with other players worldwide and take part in massive battles to determine the fate of Albion.

Albion Online reviews and comments

Albion Online must be the most hardcore roleplaying game where hours and hours slip by the many multiplayer and solo activities and actions it offers. All the way from the cozy gathering or crafting activities, to the savage open-world player vs player ganks or zerg vs zerg warzones. It is a really immersive game, where everything that there is to do is entertaining and fun, though super time consuming.

You have to experience the massive pvp madness in Albion Online on the lethal black zones where a couple of hundreds of players organize around the territories and launch huge battlefields.

Already at the first Start there were Problems with the Launcher, then that wanted (again) a Confirmation Code even though I also Logged in from the same PC the last Time (website). After The Character Creation, there was daily Maintenance, which was displayed daily only after a few Minutes. And also does not communicate in the Game so I tried to log in more often. In the Game even then, while everything runs smoothly, ALL Areas where I've been so far are completely overcrowded. And the Players seem more like Bots, I assume that many are just that. They stand even in Settlements in certain Places and mine all The time. Or kill the enemy/Animals in certain Places and make it incredibly difficult for new Players or those with a Task. Even in Instances, one is not sure of them in Instances if they are public. Nor does the Game feel very rewarding more like Work. In addition, the whole Spammers are chatted and Gold Plates.

First Of all, I am glad that there are still developers who place the Main Focus on PVP in an MMORPG, but in my Opinion not consistently enough at Albion Online. Who needs hell in a PvP-oriented Game Skills that generate Aggro in PvE mobs? The GvG's are boring, you could have been inspired by the Game Guild Warscomo 1). I also find it boring That the Skills are designed for closed Combos (Skill "a" causes Debuff "x" on the Opponent, Skill "b" also does damage if the Opponent has 3x Debuff "x" on him). As a result, there is almost only the Possibility to make Combos in Teamplay With Stuns, which is much more interesting with more Depth (again, see Guild Wars 1). Such Systems are more worthwhile for Mobas (although there are much more interesting Skills for Mobas) or FOR RPG's, where the Focus is on the 1vs1 and since at Albion Online in the Lategame You never actually have 1vs1 Situations ... The System makes rather less Sense. The Game is mainly intended for People who are in the Mood for huge Guilds, who like to walk around in larger Groups to take off the Loot in larger Groups ... You should also look for a Guild directly as a Newcomer, which makes the Leveling of the Equipment much faster. The Game is absolutely not for People who want to play alone or in small Groups ... In my Opinion, the Game is simply not worth it for that. The Price of €25/26 is, in my View, set far too high, for the fact that the Game should actually become F2P after Release. In the End, almost everyone goes into a large Guild to minimize their own Risk and people traveling in small Groups avoid the black zone, as the Risk is far too high to lose their Loom and the Reward just far too low, if not. The Basic Concept of Albion Online is not bad (open world PvP, constructed PvP (GvG and Arena),...), but the Implementation leaves a lot to Be desired. The Game is still being played and it's definitely not dead ... However, this is not difficult with a Server for all Players in the World:D. And instead of actually improving the Game, there are some monthly Challenges that you will never use a Mount (which you never use, as you Have to be afraid of losing it) and a Badge.
