Alpacalypse
About
Alpacalypse is a 3D platformer inspired by PS1/N64-era platformers (mostly Spyro), about an Alpaca avatar of the gods tasked with preventing an impending armageddon via an adorable blood sacrifice.
Below is a link to the first stable prototype build (v0.1.0), intended to demonstrate and test the core mechanics and ideas of the game (platforming movement, yeeting things into big pits). It's very bare-bones and still fairly buggy atm, but hopefully serves to get the idea across enough for some feedback/criticism.
Controls
WASD (Left stick) to move
Space (Cross/A) to jump
Hold shift (Square/X)to charge
Esc (Options/Start) to pause
(DEBUG): Q (PS/Xbox button) to force quit, R (Share/Select) to restart level
Controllers are supported, if you've got one lying around please let me know how you get on using one.
Mechanics
Charge jumping will get you farther
Charge into sheep to send them flying
Charge sheep into the pit before the time runs out
