You are a young boy named Korren.  After being stranded in a forest alone, you come to your senses.  You don't remember how you got there, and your only mission is to travel deeper into the forest in order to meet up with your parents. However creatures known as monsters roam the forest and seek to kill Korren. 

Are you sure you can trust your memories?
