Arena (itch) (brousserie)
About
Fight through waves of enemies in the great colosseum, to build your fame in the arena and have a fight against the man who abducted your wife.
It is meant to be a high difficulty game. Be ware, you'll probably have to try hard to get good results !
You can wether play the story mode (story line is absolutely incomplete -we've barely had time to insert a few dialogues-), in which you'll have to make it through successive fights engaging more and more ennemies. If you feel like challenging yourself, you can fight for the high score in survival mode !
We suggest that you play with a controller, however we didn't have time to make the menu usable with it.
Controls (Keyboard | Controller : Action) :
Arrows | Left Stick : Move / Jump / Crouch (Spacebar also allows you to move)
W | Square / X : Punch (Fast, might allow you to make combos)
E | Triangle / Y : Kick (Pushes your ennemies back)
R | Circle / A : Sword (Deals more damage)
S | RightTrigger : Slide (Cancels ennemy attack, stuns them and allows fast moves)
D | LeftTrigger : Dodge (Well, that's pretty explicit)
T | DigitalPad Down : Interact with items
P / Escape | Start : Pause the game
We want to continue developing this game so we look forward to recieve feedbacks, bug reports (known bugs are listed at the bottom) and we would enjoy to team up with graphists to have our own assets.

- Controller menu navigability
- Input settings menu
- Full story
- More characters
- Saving high score in survival mode
- Fixing bugs

Known bugs :
- When hitting an enemy by sliding, the particles are persistant
- When you die, particles are persistant
- *Didn't identify the conditions* the text for the amount of damage sometimes also sticks to the screen
- When losing in survival mode, the Load Save screen is displayed (while using it takes you to the story mode)
- When playing survival mode, the HUD is the same as in story mode - thus, displayed information isn't relevant (more a lack of time than a real bug)
