At: the Gates

At: the Gates is a roguelike mouse-aim shooter, in multiple senses of the word "roguelike". It is usually possible to complete a run with no deaths in under an hour, but you should expect a few deaths on your first play-through. The in-game instructions page provides you with enough information to get started. Learning the details of the game is intended to be a process of trial and error.

Due to browser limitations, the instructions page assumes you are using a QWERTY keyboard; if you are not, use whatever keys are in the corresponding positions. Playing with a laptop touchpad, as opposed to a physical mouse, is not recommended.
