Absolutely Genius!!!
A very successful Remake of the Original.
Current Graphics that but don't seem too disfiguring to the Original.
Control is great with Gamepad and also with Keyboard.
The Editor works great and does more than Whim.
Likewise, the character and item designer.
Some of the negative Reviews here I can't quite understand.
Contrary To many Remakes, such as "Giana Sisters-Twisted Dream," which had nothing in common with the Original, this Game is again very much oriented towards the Original.
It was said that a Previous Game allegedly had Bombs.
I know the original of Bröderbund and there was nothing with Bombs or anything like that.
The Programmers were strictly oriented towards the original original.
That, in my View, was more than right.
The retro part has its own Graphics, based on the Original, I don't think is so bad now.
Anyone who wants to have the Original buys it via Mobile phone, via Windows Phone, IO/S, Android.
Loderunner Classic.
Or install a C64er Emulator and gamble the True Original by Bröderbund.
I can more than recommend Loderunner Legacy.
The Price is ok.
If you find it too high, you can just wait until it's On offer in the autumn or winter sale.
But a good Remake should already be rewarded and I think it's a good Remake.
But that, in The end, everyone has to decide for themselves.
In any case, I say clearly Thumbs up.

After a good 30 Years, there's another Remake of the Classic Loderunner.
Created On the Apple 2 and then came to Immortality on the C64, then to see the Light of day in many Infusions on numerous Computers and Consoles. The Game principle is as simple as it is ingenious, and that is probably the Secret of the Whole thing: Just a Stroke of genius.
It is clear why many people want to earn their Money with this, but why every new Version always has to change or add Small Things, that is probably a Matter for the Marketing Departments. It doesn'T always do the Game good overall.
Legacy is trying to stay as close to the Original as possible, that's good. And that's why playing Is just Fun.
Very strange, and so quite simply different from the Original is that Extras are still hidden under completely arbitrary wall pieces. In the Context of a Further development of the old Idea, this may still be fine, but searching the entire field is just a Waste Of time, an Indication of the Goal to be achieved could then have been installed.
Purists will miss one Thing! In the Options, there is the Option to place the "dig right" And "left dig" function on the A button. It is ok. Completely disregarded, however, was to implement the Function "Digging IN running direction" or "ENTGEGEN the Running Direction dig." That would be the Easiest thing in the World and then just like in the Original. Completely incomprehensible as to why this has been omitted. When Playing, this is actually a Difference, not only haptisch/mechanically, but also in terms of playing technique.
The Game is too expensive, even in various special offer periods a 75% Reduction would probably have suited the Game (instead of 50%, as with me).
Half Purchase recommendation. Too expensive, but you just have To have LodeRunner ...
Some levels got really hard, but infinite restarts made success almost inevitable. The challenge of trying to get 2 or 3 stars can get tedious. But there are so many levels it's really fun to get through them all.
Some may like that you can make your own objects and characters, but I wished it had a cleaner look and dropped the 3D aspects.
Positive points:
Fun action, many levels.
Negative points:
Simplistic graphics.
