One man stands for justice amid society's chaos. No. One bird...

With art by 19th century caricaturist J. J. Grandville, and music by legendary romantic-era composer Camille Saint-Saëns, this game promises to be a ~swanderful~ experience.Features:
  • Four chapters of talon-biting intrigue and suspense.
  • Dozens of colorful characters to meet, interview, and bribe.
  • Did I say bribe? I meant persuade.
  • Real-life landmarks. Knock on the doors of Notre-Dame! Loot the Louvre!
  • Three fully fleshed-out endings. Decisions have consequences!
  • More bird puns than you can shake a feather at.

Aviary Attorney reviews and comments

WHAT. A. GAME! I don't remember every single detail of the game, since I played it almost a year ago. However, what I do remember is having a BLAST playing it. The storyline was intriguing, the characters even more so (who doesn't love a cast full of animals breaking stereotypes?). The music was fantastic. And there are multiple endings, from what I remember! Meaning you can play the game through a few times and see how your decisions impact the end result. The playthrough was only 6 hours long, but still a favourite to this day.

"Aviary Attorney" is a graphically impressive video game that can shine especially through excellent game play. The Setting is Paris, populated by intelligent humanized animals during the 1800 century. I recommend it to anyone who likes a few hours of a silent singleplayer. Wortwitz and important decisions are the core features of the fantastic artwork. 11/10 Furries ~ Google Translator

Actually, I'm not a Fan of point and click adventures, but I gave the Game a chance and wasn't disappointed. It gets more exciting the longer you play it, but it doesn't get overly heavy. The only negative thing about the Game (might be for some) that it is not in German. At The point of the Stay I can only recommend it, who wants to dive into another world for a few Hours

Nice, funny and friendly! For the Phoenix Wright fans, it's the same! The graphic style is pretty, the small French music give a stamp to the game, the characters are endeant and sway the valves all the time... It takes a good level of English to play on the other hand. If Shakespeare's language doesn't scare you, go ahead. On the other hand, a little short (6h to browse it once)

In case you know the "Ace Attorney" series, you'll know what you get. It's an adventure game based on questioning witnesses and suspects, collecting evidence and combining your findings to get the perpetrator behind bars, while also uncovering a bigger mystery. All fit into a wonderful late 18th / early 19th century animal fable setting, featuring lots of bad but funny puns and silly jokes. It's kind of short, but a lot of fun and features wonderful visuals fitting the time period. I had a great time. :)

By closing Phoenix Wright player I was waiting for this game eagerly. I have not been disappointed. What I liked:-the dialogues full of humor, when a French version? -well-built characters,-the historical context-the original graphics-the impression that choices made will have an influence on the future. -the impression of having a different game of a Phoenix Wright, less on Rails, more possibilities to miss a clue, one is more to the affut. What is unfortunate is that the game is too short just like the lawsuits. I can't wait to play after that.

Aviary Attorney is an Adventure that is offered as a Visual Novel, but in my opinion it goes much stronger in its Conception towards the classic Text adventure than the "usual" Visual novels. Viewed As such, it would be one of the best "games" in this Subgenre. Both the original Story (Criminal History in 19Th-century Paris), Optical Presentation with the Drawings of the well-known Artist J. J. Grandville, and the Wit of words in the Texts clearly highlight the Adventure from the "Mass." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PuNZfpXn5s&feature=youtu.be
This visual novel game is all about solving cases.
It is written with lots of smaller gags and bird puns. All of this gives the game an air of pretentiousness. This is not to say its bad, but it did break part of the experience for me. So heads up; if you are not a fan of constant puns, avoid this game.

Now, what it does do right is the way you go about the story. It presents itself with all kinds of angles and actually managed to make me feel smart a few times through my first case.
It must also be noted that the game allows you to make huge mistakes, and being a true visual novel, it is not afraid to let you know the consequences of your mistake. (with a traditional undo button, of course)

Overall, this game is decent. Its not great, but I imagine it being the perfect game to play if you have half a hour of free time. It is not mentally intensive and overall not a bad experience.
