WHAT. A. GAME! I don't remember every single detail of the game, since I played it almost a year ago. However, what I do remember is having a BLAST playing it. The storyline was intriguing, the characters even more so (who doesn't love a cast full of animals breaking stereotypes?). The music was fantastic. And there are multiple endings, from what I remember! Meaning you can play the game through a few times and see how your decisions impact the end result. The playthrough was only 6 hours long, but still a favourite to this day.

Actually, I'm not a Fan of point and click adventures, but I gave the Game a chance and wasn't disappointed.
It gets more exciting the longer you play it, but it doesn't get overly heavy.
The only negative thing about the Game (might be for some) that it is not in German.

In case you know the "Ace Attorney" series, you'll know what you get. It's an adventure game based on questioning witnesses and suspects, collecting evidence and combining your findings to get the perpetrator behind bars, while also uncovering a bigger mystery. All fit into a wonderful late 18th / early 19th century animal fable setting, featuring lots of bad but funny puns and silly jokes. It's kind of short, but a lot of fun and features wonderful visuals fitting the time period. I had a great time. :)

By closing Phoenix Wright player I was waiting for this game eagerly.

Aviary Attorney is an Adventure that is offered as a Visual Novel, but in my opinion it goes much stronger in its Conception towards the classic Text adventure than the "usual" Visual novels. Viewed As such, it would be one of the best "games" in this Subgenre. Both the original Story (Criminal History in 19Th-century Paris), Optical Presentation with the Drawings of the well-known Artist J. J. Grandville, and the Wit of words in the Texts clearly highlight the Adventure from the "Mass."

This visual novel game is all about solving cases.
It is written with lots of smaller gags and bird puns. All of this gives the game an air of pretentiousness. This is not to say its bad, but it did break part of the experience for me. So heads up; if you are not a fan of constant puns, avoid this game.
Now, what it does do right is the way you go about the story. It presents itself with all kinds of angles and actually managed to make me feel smart a few times through my first case.
It must also be noted that the game allows you to make huge mistakes, and being a true visual novel, it is not afraid to let you know the consequences of your mistake. (with a traditional undo button, of course)
Overall, this game is decent. Its not great, but I imagine it being the perfect game to play if you have half a hour of free time. It is not mentally intensive and overall not a bad experience.
