Away In Darkness

Dive into the nightmare, where you have to find the guardian’s power and guns to  save the world.

Be ready for a fast paced shoot 'em up game, where every movement counts and making the smarter move gets you past the nightmare.

Many evil creatures will try to stop you and don’t forget nr. 71, YOU ARE THE LAST CHANCE!!

Left/A and Right/D keys – Move                  Space – Jump

Up/W and Down/S keys – Climb                  SHIFT – Dash

Tips and tricks (spoilers)

Manage your energy for when you need it. Look at the signs and figure out the bosses’ strategy in order to beat them. Calculated fights require calculated actions.

Boxes can spawn health points, but sometimes they spawn enemies. Explosions go through shield, but bullets don’t. Use the Stop/Crouch key + direction keys, when you want to aim the gun in a certain direction and you want to stop moving. Dashing also damages enemies.

Install instructions

1. Un-zip the file.

2. Open “Away In Darkness.exe”

3. Enjoy!!

You can post your final score, when you finish the game and compete with your friends. Get ready for action. Don't forget that learning is a process and succeeding in anything takes time.
