Aztaka reviews and comments

You think this game is not interesting, right? Well, you're wrong! Discovering another rare culture are the exotic games, offering another culture as a playground. Yet this is what this little metroïdvania does by proposing to embody, not a medieval knight or a soldier of modern wars, but a hero of the Aztec people, and more precisely huitzilo the son of the Sun and his sidekick ayohpa the Hummingbird in their quests to find a stolen artifact in the great temple. Certainly the scenario may seem simplistic, but its true richness can only be appreciated through the many NPC's and the life that the city and its villagers offer. It is also worth noting the many sub-quests that will offer a whole different path as long as we take the time to do them. And the graphics then? I do not have much to say about it if only, is beautiful, even very beautiful, for little that we like style. The drawings are very well detailed and offer a true vision of what could have been a true Aztec city of epoch as well as its surroundings. What's more, the paintings are beautiful, we take pleasure in exploring each of the areas that the adventure offers. The interactive? As for the gameplay, here we have a metroïdvania going to borrow some little tricks to the role plays, going so far as to involve the player by his use of the mouse to interact directly with the décor and thus clear a path for his Characters. It offers its own novelties and its own small personal touch. Here is a small list of what is interesting in this title:-Magic: when one is joined by his little companion, one obtains then the possibility to cast spells. The system used is quite interesting. The game proposes to cast this one by means of a small game of speed, by clicking on small targets appearing on the screen near the target creature. -Equipment: Besides the objects found in the course of adventure, it will be possible to buy or win on the various objects monsters in order to equip our two heroes, and thus reinforce their statistics. -Magical essences: monsters will often release a small mist of energy of various colors. It will be possible during the adventure to store the so-called energy in order to use it to modify the scenery by making platforms appear or use it to open the passages. -No game over: like many recent games there will be no game over, and the character reappears at the entrance of the area where he was or for the holes, on the other side of the hole. This could put off those loving the challenge and the difficulty, but those wanting to try the genre will enjoy discovering this title. -Passive skills: although they are few, passive skills will play their roles either by boosting the care, or by improving the quality of the armor that can be worn or simply by increasing the damage inflicted by magic. Good game or not? Well for my part, I think that the game is worth to be tempted, if only to discover a little more about the Aztec people and their culture, the gameplay as for him although interesting will be especially appreciated by the novices, the difficulty being little near Ente.
