Backroads

Recently contracted by mega corporation Zyxis Pharmaceuticals, you are a trucker tasked with the transportation of lab equipment to a cross state facility. However what's been omitted in your contract is that part of the equipment includes a highly contagious virus that is slowly leaking out and infecting you. Without the use of GPS you will have to utilize your truck's map and the surrounding landmarks to avoid getting infected or worse, lost....

Features Include

- Static map that does not update. Navigation requires paying attention to the road and nearby landmarks.

- Random events that will impact your journey through the desert.

- Two voiced characters

A four-person project created during my sophomore year where I acted as a Level and Narrative designer. Backroads stands as the first 3-D game I worked on as well as the first time working on a team larger than two. I assisted in designing and formatting the game's level as well as writing the various dialogue that appears throughout the game.
