Premise:

The only way to kill enemies is by hitting them while you are in the air. When you kill an enemy, you gain bet points. You can spend those bet points by pressing Shift and incrementing the number of points you want to spend. The more points you bet, the larger the risk and the larger the reward. These are the dice results (x stands for the number of bet points spent):

1:  x speed removed

2: x strength removed

3: x health removed

4: x speed gained

5: x strength gained

6: x health gained

The goal of the game is to kill the boss at the end.

Story:

How this Fits the Theme:

The theme of the GMTK 2022 Game Jam is: "Roll of the Dice" I have incorporated the theme in three ways:

1: The story is about a die

2: The only way to deal damage is by "rolling" on top of enemies.

3: In order to excel, you must take risks by spending bet points.
