Bartell

Bartell is a solo card game about exploring the final dungeon of a long-abandoned Multi-User Dungeon using the Carta system to play out a non-digital Roguelike. As a result, the game's dungeon layout is always randomized and sometimes can be very difficult.

You are a simple video gamer who yearned for the old-fashioned days of playing Bartell, a text-based MUD that was revolutionary in its AI programming but fell from grace due to newer games having innovations called graphics. 

As luck would have it, you discovered that the servers that contained the remnants of the game are located not too far from where you live. Hearing rumors of a final dungeon being left without anyone to beat it, you make it your mission to go over there and be the first person to beat the game.
