Battle for Orion 2
About
Earth has been destroyed. Mankind is fractured. The galaxy is at war. But one hope remains: a new home for mankind. Probes detected a habitable planet in the Orion sector. You must fight your way to it, but nothing is as it seems. A more devious plan is underway that threatens the entire galaxy.
Since the destruction of Earth, not a single habitable planet has been found. Millions of long range probes have been sent out to find a suitable home for mankind. For now, man lives in spacecraft and orbital modules around uninhabitable planets. Over centuries of expansion, factions and galactic corporations have laid claim to the galaxy. When a habitable planet was discovered, the galaxy erupted in war.
Suddenly, you wake up after hundreds of years in stasis. A mysterious AI created by the Terranovus Initiative delivers your mission, and you embark on an epic conquest across the galaxy. Collect advanced technology, grow your empire, conquer foes in massive battles, ally with powerful rivals, and discover the ultimate weapon that threatens every system in the galaxy.Features

Battle for Orion 2-"galactic" strategy from the developers of Infinite Loop Games. The Game does not strain brains, because in addition to all the charms of strategy, you are waiting for quite a foolish bots.
Hundreds of years ago, during the inter-galactic war, our planet was destroyed. Humanity could no longer remain on Earth, and was forced to abandon it in search of a new home. Millions of probes were sent in search of a human-usable planet, but the search was unsuccessful. As Long as the search continued, people survived as they could. They settled around non-residential planets in spacecraft and orbital modules. And suddenly, in our time, one of those probes discovers a long-awaited habitable planet in the Orion sector. Naturally distraught with happiness people rushed to her, and then there was a war broke out.
You wake up after hundreds of years to complete a mission from Terranovus Initiative and liberate the besieged galaxy.
Smoothly going to the gameplay, I just want to say that the game will require a lot of time. But everything in order. Initially, you are offered 3 game modes: campaign-it is the main mode of the game; Simulator-something like a training mode; and the creation of maps-rather not a mode, but an addition.
I did not delve Into the creation of maps. And the simulator in principle coincides with the main mode, except that before the battle you set the parameters of the map and the number of resources you need.
The Campaign is something different. For starters, it consists of 24 missions. In each of them, you need to do, in principle, the same thing: to conquer the planets of enemy troops. To make this possible, install around the planets modules, collect metal, do ships (all this is interconnected, for example: without metal not to build a ship, and without the necessary number of ships do not destroy enemies). The Main thing is not only to determine the number of those or other modules (around the planets they can be set a certain number), but also correctly arrange the factories manufacturing ships (ships in the ranks can be only a certain number, when at least One ship dies, the plant manufactures yet, and so, to the maximum mark, if of course allows the amount of metal), because if the Podmoga will fly from a distant planet, it may not fit, while the neighbors (to the enemy) can again take possession of rivals. But All this is of course the subtleties of strategy. Properly built is rewarded with victory, not correct.. Well, you know. Moving on missions you come across a growing number of besieged planets.
Incidentally, the speed of the game can be accelerated, as in many strategies.
As for the graphics, it is not complicated, but pleasant. For This price certainly expected something more, but frankly, I can not imagine how it would be possible to paint it differently in this product. Sound design is very even. A Militant soundtrack, similar to those that are heard from the blockbuster screens, and good sound effects in the game itself.
