Conflicks - Revolutionary Space Battles
About
Spaceships, lasers, and… chickens! What more could you ask for?
Conflicks: Revolutionary Space Battles is a creative new take on space-themed videogames that merges the deep, thoughtful gameplay of strategy games with the intuitive accessibility of physics-based games.
The game universe is a futuristic alternate history of the European Renaissance that combines elements from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries with science fiction and an oddball sense of humor into a stylized, absurdist world that never takes itself too seriously. Conflicks can be played in a single-player campaign mode where missions are linked together by a story, as well as in competitive battles (against other players or AI).
Pledge your allegiance to Greater-Britain, the Celestial Empire, the Sacred Alliance or the Sublime Gate and harvest metamatter in the name of your emperor, or join the Chk’Rathii and lead the Revolution against those poultry-hoarding galactic despots!Main Features

Early access review I say Yes Yes Yes:-)
Player type: not at all a RTS player at the base, in most cases the genre bothers me, well I of course play StarCraft 2 for the story and in the time Warcraft 3 because I liked not to have to manage hundreds of units.
Yet Conflicks had intrigued me, I hesitated a lot and I watched quite a bit of gameplay video in order to make sure I really wanted to put €20 in this game (note for me, do more often than not, it will avoid the games that rot in my list because buy on a whim) the game: well I would not throw in the story, the store page video explains it well, and it's good delirium, do not hope to find any valves on the chickens.
Conflicks is at a well advanced stage for an early access, single player campaign, multiplayer (attention at the moment is only available from 1vs1vs1vs1 or 2vs2 human or IA, also the only multi mode available at the moment is point-based, adjustable to increase or d time of the game).
the pitchnette is life, and it remains the big attraction of the game, it completely changes the management and the movement of the basic RTS.
The Kathryn is played very well with the mouse, in short you select your unit, remaining pressed you pull backwards and propel your ship.
Although it is rather simple to manage the distance in a quiet situation, it quickly becomes retord in situations of runaway, it will be necessary to do quickly and well hoping not to send his little toy in the atraction of a planet, in an asteroid, in the corrosive clouds, in the moons that plays the role of unpredictable bumper.
Although the distance is still easy to master, it gets worse at the level of the direction has medium and long distance.
factions: the game offers 4 factions, although the ships themselves the same with a different design, their powers are completely different (example: the Corvette: on one side it can activate a shield that reflects the enemy shots on itself, while from the side it charms the enemy in their coming in ect...)
the game therefore requires a lot of micromanagement, although 2 units found to carry starts their laser shots, the special powers of each unit must be activated manually, or by Kathryn (missiles ect...) all this makes the game ultra dynamic, know to aim, know how to take advantage of its environment ect....
ask yourself, watch a bit of gameplay. because it is difficult to explain everything without falling into a novel that will not be read by anyone:-) In short, conquer planis in order to gain and increase its reserve of metamatière (each displacement, powers costs of this matter.....
for my part I am conquered by this discovery
