BattleLore: Command reviews and comments

Given that my assessment is positive because it is a beautiful fantasy strategy game conceived at a high level, there are some considerations to make. The first, the experience and the improvement of the troops are very lacking. That's why I give four stars and not five. I Hope that in time this lack can be filled. For the rest, it is a game that goes beyond the ordinary patterns (see the frozen front which I think is the top of the line). At The beginning very very difficult to master because they do not move at the same time all the troops deployed in the field but only those that serve according to the initial choices. All expendable according to the situation. Enemy troops are unequivocally stronger than ours. Sometimes out Of despair you think that the CPU Bari... In reality everything is to master tactically the field and especially the lore, that is the special powers, that will make the difference between victory and defeat. Nice game difficult and therefore very fulfilling, above average but who feels the lack of being able to perfect his army with the experience. It Should be possible to arm and better armor the troops. Recommended only to tactical hardcore gamers. A great challenge.

The game is beautiful as a whole: characters, factions, units and per se does not invent anything new taking rightly inspired by Board Game such as Warhammer Fantasty. I've played too many a few hours but there are two aspects that I would like to point out hoping to bring an alert that can be constructive. First point: I would Give the possibility of "maneuver" better and greater where each turn, each player, can move the entire army, putting maybe 4/6 lines of movement in more between the two factions and perhaps resizing the values of the same so as to give create a turn Likenesses to the first physical clashes where I would integrate with the appearance of real shooting machines (catapults/cannons) to be done by filling. In The same way I would put a couple of potential Heroes by faction between Wizards and fighters who, always in the shooting phase, can unleash their abilities. Second Point: The Resolution of the skirmishes between the CPU and its own army is often not balanced and this can be the long demotivant. Third Point: Invest More absolutely in the game, in advertising because this is really a great title with a potential for widespread diffusion. The fact that there are no players online denotes how little is known despite now the 4 years since its first publication. I'M sure with a hint of extra color and a little more dynamic given by the above mentioned points the game would be a MUST for all players of board games and NERDS that are there in the world... And trust us: we are many. Congratulations again.
