Ed – the Participant
A few months ago, Ed won the „Candy Fun Marathon“ silver medal. Unfortunately he died a few minutes later from a heart attack.
For more than 4 days nobody found his body, rotting in a nearby field. As fate willed and for reasons unknown, Ed became the first undead. For days he aimlessly wandered around, finally being found by a young boy named Ben.
Ben – the Prize
He is just a normal boy. Well, he never had any good friends, but is fine with this. Ben always liked to roam the ruins and bleak fields around his neighborhood, where he one day discovered something unbelievable. Ed, an undead, walking around the dreary landscape. Hello together, luckily I had the Chance to play the Game a few Days earlier in a Pre-release and I also want to give a little Review at this Point.
The Game is awesome, just awesome, the Idea Of combining Platformer with a Zombie whose body Parts can also be eliminated due to the different Traps gives the Game a special Appeal.
Thus, a Touch of a trap is not immediately a Game Over sign, but you can also only try to get to the next Checkpoint with your Head (which is not particularly easy) The Story of the Game is quickly told, Child lives in a bleak world, Child Find Zombie, Kid and Zombie become Friends and Zombie is kidnapped by a TV Producer and it creates the Gameshow where Zombie has to survive!
But even if this one is told quickly, it's about the actual Game.
Because that really has it in itself, still relatively harmless at first, it turns out to be partly knotted Hard game at the latest after the first Boss that has brought me closer to one or the other Rage Quit. But still you want to make progress and don't start 2 Minutes later Ben and Ed again!
The Graphics have succeeded and run absolutely smoothly in the highest Settings.
The Sound has succeeded super and fires you really not only slowly moving through the Levels, but also sometimes with a slightly higher Risk.
The Idea with the Zombie alone is nothing new, but in Combination with sloping Body parts through the Traps, the funny Movements that result make for some Laughs during the Gameplay.
And yes, the Game is a clear Buy recommendation for Platformer Fans and for the Price.
