The existence of smartphone cameras and the nonchalant presence of modern day surveillance allow us to live out the narrative in the 20th-century classical noirs. Today we’re living in the era where modern technologies allow every person to record and be recorded, where surveillance is an afterthought, and not everyone seems to care.

Inspired by the massive surveillance state in our modern society and the book 1984, Big Brothers are watching you is a virtual installation where viewers will be place in their own house  with the presence of modern telescreens, anytime, anywhere.
