A game with its pros and cons, but I recommend it anyway:)
Cons:-repetitive-graphics not phew for the scenery-collision bugs-history a bit classic (and a little short) advantages:-precise character graphics-gameplay with high potential (according to me ^ ^)-beautiful combos in summary, this game deserves to be played, in fact you have to spend the boring period of the beginning and start body and soul in the following levels. There I assure you that you can finish the story almost of a milking (the game is not extremely long)!
For more details I invite you to go and see the video I made on the subject;)

Bionic Commando is an action/platform game whose gimmick relies on the multiple uses of Spencer's bionic arm, the brave guy we embody and who, Ho surprise, was freed and mandated by the authorities who had put him in jail and deprived himself of s cyborg capabilities.
But why is Spencer taking over the service? To go and correct some bad terrorists, pardi! What a silly question... But the terrorists, there, they are truly revered, of the kind very wicked, since they have already sprayed a metropolis. Yep. Just that. So it's up to Spencer to throw himself (to be thrown...) into the mouth of the Wolf to settle the situation in the blood and the metal.
On the whole, if we accept the scenario stuffed with clichés worthy of (TV) war films and American catastrophe, one has to make a game rather pleasant despite its shortcomings.
The good points: the visual aspect is overall pretty, which serves perfectly the different environments encountered (ruined city, forest, caves...);
The soundtrack is varied and well felt. Some pieces are even surprisingly beautiful for a game of the genre;
Playability responds well and does not pose any particular concern. The gameplay offers some richness;
The possibilities offered by the bionic arm. The grappled function, which allows to propel itself to the heights, to fly, or to project itself on an enemy, is probably the most used, but use the bionic arm to throw stuff on stuff, or stuff about guys, or guys on stuff , or guys on guys, it's nice too;
The bad points: the mastery of the bionic arm, especially in the phases of revolts which consist of moving from one mine to the other, is not so obvious. Distances and timings are not always easy to gauge, and can make the game stupidly frustrating (like planting on the twelfth try while one was at a hair to succeed, just because Spencer refuses to grasp the next attachment point then that we were sure it was happening. The opposite is true too: to arrive with too much momentum and to miss a point of attachment, for example...) ;
The scenario not very interesting, which serves just pretext, and the characters not or unendeant;
A general outline very plan-plan and little inspired.
With Bionic Commando, we are therefore faced with a small, sympatoche entertainment, a medium game, or even relatively good, which allows to gently kill the time for 8 to 10 hours (average time estimated to do it a first time, in normal mode).
