About

Blockwick is a jumbled world full of colorful blocks. Connect all same-colored blocks on the board. Blue with blue, red with red, and so on. Don’t worry about the white crates though—they just get in the way.

If you get stuck on a puzzle, don’t fret. Just look for the hidden moon pearl. Finding the moon pearl in a puzzle will allow you to open the next puzzle.

The further you progress the more special blocks you’ll meet. Some are bolted down and are permanently stuck. Some blocks are asleep and can’t move until they’re woken up (set down a same-colored block next to it to wake it up). Entangled blocks are connected together by quantum forces—when one moves so do the others. Blocks that are entangled share the same symbol.

Eventually you’ll meet even more devious blocks. Sticky blocks are gooey and will stick to other blocks. You can't pick them up directly; they can only be pushed and pulled around with other blocks and crates. Caterpillar blocks are linked to each other like a train; they can only be moved with the head or the tail. Hypno blocks don’t need to be connected to solve a puzzle, but they’ll cause a lot of pain. The hypno puts any colored block to sleep if you set one down right next to it. Finally, flip blocks have six sides. When you move them, they flip to a different side, exposing a new color.

Oh, did you notice the strange glyphs on the ground? Each puzzle has three. Try to cover them all up with groups of linked blocks to master the puzzle. It’ll be more tricky, but it’s good for your brain.

That’s about it. Have fun!

Blockwick 2 reviews and comments

I play on Linux. Linux version: excellent. The Blockwick 2 game offers you to push blocks to bring together blocks of the same color. If the principle is very simple, solving the different puzzles is a little less. There are many different blocks that allow many possibilities in the design of the levels. Level realization, nothing to complain: the graphics are simplistic and enjoyable, the sound effects are quite adapted, for the music is Basic. Replayability, achievements the game does not offer infinite mode or random levels, but still has 160 main levels. There are 144 levels in a second module, which are much simpler: I really had no trouble finishing them after doing the prinicpals levels. In total, I would say a good twenty hour of play if you have foam brain like me. For achievements, all levels offer an additional challenge of arranging the blocks on certain boxes identified by runes. Not always obvious, it lengthens the lifespan of the game:). In short a great puzzle! Definitely recommended, go ahead if you like the genre. GNU/Linux the Linux version is excellent. I have not encountered any worries! OS: Linux Mint 18.3 x64, MATE Edition. Hardware: I7 7700K OC @ 5Ghz, NVIDIA 1080GTX, 32GB RAM. Screens: Triplescreen, including one vertical, one X screen.

Great puzzle game! The initial concept is very simple: it is a matter of joining according to their color blocks of various shapes-the whites less, which are only there to hinder you. In each world there are new mechanics, each of which is easy to assimilate: some of these blocks are fixed, others stick or even fall asleep (you will have to wake them by touching them with a block of identical color) or are chained to each other. Blockwick 2 's intelligence lies in the perfect balance between challenge and frustration. Not only is the progression curve impeccably mastered, but on top of the market, as soon as you find the hidden bead in each level, you will be able to move on to the next one. Free to you, if envy takes you, to attack you later on those on which you will have failed. Blockwick 2 has nearly 300 puzzles, spread over two "modes" and a small twenty worlds. Again, they were clever at Kiefer Bros., in that they have incorporated into each of them an additional, but optional, difficulty. So you will be offered to illuminate the levels, which is to finish them by placing the blocks on glyphs arranged here and there. To achieve this, however, it will be necessary to intensify perseverance and ingenuity. In summary, a puzzle-game very addictive, rarely frustant, which enjoys a remarkable lifespan. Verdict: 4/5-very good, a sure value!
