Bloody Zombies reviews

Beat'em all very nice on paper (multi online, skill upgrades, zombies), the game is actually disappointing and relatively hollow at the moment, many flaws make the whole quite mediocre:-the different characters serve just to change skin, the skills do not move from one to the other. -the different fighting skills (special shots consuming a bar of stamina) are the only things to upgrade, via a system of random loot and very limited shop. Do not expect a complete system of leveling with stats to mount life bar genre, typing power of basic shots etc... -These skills are frankly anecdotal, one is far from having to choose between different builds, the animation changes from one skill to another but the effect and the damage are almost similar. -Very soft gameplay. It's a subjective feeling, but the game experience is hyper-soft the controller in hand. This is probably partly related to the fact that the characters move very slowly, but it is clearly part of these games or to move his avatar is not pleasant, which is quite problematic in this register, especially that there are in each level of the zones to the gameplay a little platform, with jumps and obstacles to avoid. These moments are clearly horrible, no fun. -The combat system is very limited. OK, a beat'em all is not a real game of baston, but in 2017 and even for an indie game, I still await in this register a little depth. There we have 4 different combos, which change almost nothing in terms of damage or in terms of crowd control. -grind very present, which is not necessarily a problem, but rather boring as it is, especially because of the softness of the gameplay evoked above. We redone the levels to the chain to get money (1/mob if killed via a special shot + occasionally between 1 and 5 coins in loot) that allows to mount the skills via a system of shop (from level 3 it takes 350 units of money to move to the level of higher and I guess it's still growing). There is a system of rank at the end of the level but there is no point in particular, no reward system, no ranking of the Community (and it is not foreseen by the devs). -a lot of bugs, nothing serious but little tricks super annoying: enemies blocked behind the limits of the level forcing to start again from the beginning, once in two after beating a boss, the character leaves the level automatically without having been able to looter anything. In the positives:-the DA is rather cool and has personality, the dubbing of the perso has charm and sound atmosphere, without being amazing does the job. -the graphics are clean-I can't find the exorbitant price for what it is, even if in the indie genre at less than €15 you can find real pearls, which is clearly not the case here. To conclude, very big disappointment for me. As I said in intro, on the paper the game has everything to be the realization of a big fantasy (beat'em all + leveling + online + zombies), but the result is very average, the fault to a gameplay and content really too limited. It's a shame.
