Blooming Thoughts

Blooming Thoughts is a top-down adventure game made during the 7th edition of the Ubisoft Game Challenge (GaCha) in Montpellier. This year's jam's theme was around emojis and each team had a random theme chosen via the Wheel of Destiny, ours was 🥺🌈💮(lotus flower).
In addition to this theme, we received 5 Cards of Destiny that added extra constraints:

• There's a bag for that.: The game must contain an inventory management system.
• Can't think for myself...: The game must feature an AI with at least 4 distinct states
• 😲💬: The game must include a core game mechanic centered around communication.
• More than meets the AIs: Every game texture must be AI generated.
• Apple of my AI: Every character must be AI generated.

In this game, you're playing in the dream of a little girl who's willing to show and share emotions with his imaginary friendly robot-plushie.
Your cute little friend will then react to those feelings you transmit them and try to protect you from your nightmares while you try to accept those same feelings.  But be careful, if love and fear can be of a great help, hate can sometimes lead you to become your own nightmare...

How to play

Use ZQSD or the left joystick to move around and E or A to pick up feelings and to give them to your robot friend or to plant them inside lotus flowers that disseminate the emotion around them.
