About

Save the world one wire at a time with Bomb Squad Academy, a puzzle game where you have to defuse bombs under a time constraint.

Analyze the way the electronic boards function and identify how to disable the detonator. Be careful though, cutting the wrong wire or flipping the wrong switch might just trigger the bomb.

As you progress through the game, you will be faced with increasingly challenging circuits that will test your ability to work through logic puzzles quickly. Identify the components, understand the connections and learn what makes the circuit work. Do it fast enough and you might just make it through.

Good luck!

Bomb Squad Academy reviews and comments

I frankly liked a lot bomb squad Academy! Admit that you always wanted to cut this damn red thread eh! With bomb squad Academy it's finally possible! But beware the result will be potentially explosive If you have not planned your shot properly!! The principle of the game is quite simple: you are in front of an electronic circuit (Simplified!) with a countdown, itself connected to the explosive! The aim is then to interact with the circuit (for example by cutting a wire or by manipulating a switch) in order to make the bomb ineffective. To help you, the game shows the current path, which allows you to quickly see the consequences of your actions. (The visualization of the current is disabled in the options, but it is to advise only the forcenés!) The progressiveness is really very good, each circuit component is presented in a tutorial where it is the center of attention, and the concepts to defuse a bomb are learned as and when levels. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of components proposed, I did not expect to find capacitors or other scales in the arsenal used by the bomb-setters (or rather the "instructors" of the Academy). This changes games that mainly use only classic logical doors "ET", "or" etc. The concepts used in the bombs are really very nice, the interface is super inuitive and you can not help smiling when you discover a trap tense in a bomb circuit, whether it is when avoided (victory smile) or when one falls in (the realization that we have been fooled!) Important point: the game is only in English (for now?) but it really does not interfere with understanding since the game makes us all learn by direct manipulation and not by the discourse (it is the BAC PRO sector of demining, not the University:-)). Otherwise, the game is still a short hair for the fierce (or programmers who have the habit of these concepts), and if you feel targeted by the category, do not hesitate to disable the visualization of the current path in the options, it actually creates a extra challenge!! But anyway, I hope (and I think!) that additional levels (or a Publisher allowing the sharing of levels on steam?) will soon be proposed by the developers. In conclusion: the few euros that cost me this game were, I find, well invested because I took a lot of fun to play there. The game experience is really nice and the variety of base bricks is clearly refreshing! There is only a little bit of additional content to fill the insatiable deminminer that I have become!!
