Bonsai
About
Bonsai is a game about curiosity and life. Grow your tree, prune it, and watch over it as it matures into adulthood. The tree will become what you train it to be - you are the mastermind behind it’s path in life.
Each tree is unique and procedurally generated to be as authentic and realistic as possible. Grow an unlimited number of tree-friends using different strategies and masterfully sculpt their shapes. Be aggressive and hack your tree down or gently guide it each step of the way, how you tend to your tree is up to you. Since every tree and every species is unique, each play through will be different from the last!

-as a Gift-Bonsai: The Name is Program!
After Steam proposed this Game to me, the Game principle only became a Running Gag. But we have let ourselves be taught better. This Product is a Masterpiece that Manifests the Simplicity in the Game principle Versus the increasingly complex industry in near-faultless gameplay mechanics. An emotionally poignant and at the same time just as simple, relaxing Game principle, the Story of which thrives on the fact that there is none!
Gameplay/Story: But what exactly is Bonsai?
In Bonsai you play a Home Gardener, basically you play yourself with all your free Decisions. You can freely choose when to pour your Bonsai (Growth bonus), when to cut your Bonsai-or neither. This always happens to grow, so that you can strengthen your Tree almost individually. Unfortunately, the cutting edge feature is sometimes not entirely traceable, so sometimes you cut parts that you actually wanted to keep. That being said, the gameplay mechanics work flawlessly. The Lack of a quick storage feature contributes to your own gardener story and emotional Attachment to your Bonsai. Whatever Decision you make, it is final. Once, for a brief Moment, I hadn't paid attention to this trance-like sense Of play, and clipped my Bonsai instead of pouring it. I faced an emotional Breakdown!
For those who want more than just a Bonsai, you can create different Scores. This masterpiece also offers Steam achievements and collection cards, so every Player should be satisfied with it.
Graphics/Sound: The Game offers a very simple, minimalist Style. A Minecraft square as a flower pot, a skybox-like background That also allows time Changes, combined with a relaxing Music. However, this is more than a musical Background, because it was deliberately dispensed with a volume regulator. At first I thought the Absence of the volume controller would negatively affect me and cloud my Opinion of this Masterpiece. But on the Contrary, the Immersion was unimaginably amplified by this Feature. ingenious! The graphics settings are just as minimalist, but equally ingenious the Specifications. Unfortunately, for Spoiler reasons, I am unable to elaborate on these and the Game Modes. Experience your own World. ps. Unfortunately, I have to note that graphics/Cutting Feathers do not always harmonize with each other, so that it is not always possible to understand which Leaves belong to which branch. But it also seems to be a Faux Pas first. But in Hindsight, I have to say here, too, that this is an ingenious Move by the Developers. These emotional Outbursts caused by this are hard to describe!
Performance: In my detailed Test, I couldn't detect any Bugs or Crashes!
/sarcasmic From me there is a clear 7/7 rating, NOT buy this Game!
