The weather will change each night, lights will break, toys will come alive, things will go bump in the night. Learn the hiding places, and sounds of the Boogeyman to stay ahead.Gameplay
• Use your flashlight to ward off the Boogeyman, it seems to be the only thing it fears.

• Learn the Boogeyman's hiding places. Watch them carefully.

• The bedside lamp, nightlight, passage light, street light, and even the moon light help you to see around the room... until they go out.

• Your batteries will only last so long. Conserve as much power or risk going under the bed for more.

• Weather will change each night, affecting the way you play. Rain will drown out noise, lightening will give you quick glimpses of the room in full light, snow blizzards will make it impossible to hear much at all.VR SupportThe game supports full VR running at 90fps using the Oculus rift CV1 with minimum specs (GTX 970).

Boogeyman reviews and comments

"Boogeyman" is a little Horror Game. With the Boogeyman, Parents scare their naughty Children. If You're not good/if You don't sleep, the Boogeyman comes and gets You. This Figure has existed For centuries in the cultural Context. In the German-speaking World it is widely used as "BiBaButzemann" or simply as "Bogeyman." In the Game, we're a little Kid. Our Family has only recently moved into the new House. We have to get through the Nights without the Boogeyman getting us. The Main Part of the Game is reminiscent of "Five Nights at Freddys." We sit on our Bed, can't move, we can just look around. In various Ways, the Boogeyman can come into our Room: Through the Door, through the Window, through the Closet or through the Ventilation. We can drive him away with our Flashlight. Stupid only that an activated Flashlight results in a rapidly decreasing Battery Level. We get New Batteries when we look under the Bed. Let's Do this too often the Boogeyman under our Bed is waiting for us. As the Night progresses, it gets more and more sinister. Lamps fail. A suddenly budding TV or Radio Recorder irritates us. Or the Owl sitting down on the Tree in front of the Window. Stormy Weather can make it hard to hear which way the Boogeyman is coming. If the Game starts quite smoothing, it will be heavier every Night. The Boogeyman is on the way faster and faster, and more and more often he tries to get into our Room. In order to have a Chance against him, we can still use Items: Glowsticks, for example, Which also keep the Penetration Locations recognizable in The Duster. These Items can be found in the second Part of the Game. Here we walk through the rather small House in Search of said Items. We should always press the Light Switches and open the Doors carefully. Behind anyone, the Boogeyman could be lurking. Also can be used to Find Pieces of Paper or Tapes that tell the Story of the House and the previous Tenants. At Its core, the Game is quite simple, but it can do one thing really well: Create Atmosphere. The good Unity graphics are certainly not obstructive, but especially strong is the Sound. The rippling Rain, the Narrowing, the Throating, all Of which makes us shudder. We are transported back to our Childhood, where a Shadow created by the Tree in front of the Window was able to rob us of Sleep. Very laudable also how much the Developer has been working on the Game for a long Period of time after Release. You can see these Details in many Places. The Scope is certainly not infinite and the Game quickly becomes repetetive, but this is due to the Genre. Those who like Games in the "Five Nights at Freddys" style will find a sympathetic Genre representative here. Rating: 8/10 Atmosphere 8/10 Story 7/10 Graphic 9/10 Sound 7/10 Game Mechanics 7/10 Balancing 8/10 Game Pass Conclusion: Bi Ba Boogeyman. 8/10 Overall Rating
