Throw food to hungry ducks, or give it to the poor. Help someone in need, or look after yourself and leave them to make their own way in the world.

Bread is an interactive flash fiction written for subQjam 2019. It seeks to unravel how global warming will change the way we live in the future.

How will we secure our food supplies?

How will we help those negatively impacted?

What will we do when people flee rural areas and flood into the cities?

Bread allows players to make choices about how they would react when faced with some of the above questions, but if we want to avoid them entirely, we need to make choices in the real world...
