About

Brigade E5: New Jagged Union is a tactical game that places gamers in the small tropical nation of Palinero on the verge of a civil war. The mission: hire a band of mercenaries and take control of the deteriorating situation before the country finds itself in complete ruin.
The story offers players an opportunity to experience three different viewpoints of the conflict or work out the political structure to achieve their own goals in the global domination. Game play for the title is based on an innovative combat system called SPM® (Smart Pause Mode) that successfully blends together real-time and turn-based games.
Unlike standard turn-based systems, Brigade E5: New Jagged Union does not use "action points" while in turn-based mode, but takes into consideration the character skills and attributes resulting in more natural and diverse behavior of units. Furthermore players can issue a chain of commands that will be carried out automatically.
The choice of weapons will satisfy even highly demanding fans, with more than 100 accurately modeled firearms, varied ammunition types, grenades, body armor and special equipment. Players will be also able to modify and upgrade weapons by adding various gadgets, sniper scopes, mini grenade launchers, bayonets, etc. The game provides extensive LAN and Internet Multiplayer modes, with CTF, Deathmatch and Fortress dynamic gameplay. SPM® is a brand new feature for the squad combat strategy genre. It gives all players a chance to command their soldiers at the same time, using even an enemy's pause.

Brigade E5: New Jagged Union reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Russian
I Bought the game for the first time shortly after graduation. Buggy, scary flying, but difficult and interesting. A week later downloaded the patch Koim straightened out. And then on the patches spat, to the death of the license disc. Played on the pirate, patched to version 1.13 and with the fan Bonus Mod-OM. I Bought the game for another 1s interest, in support of the manufacturer, and now and here for the sake of the Sevs in the cloud. What to say about the game, it is a real ideological heir to the great old parts of Jagged Alliances, not to be confused with modern fakes. And Silent Storm-Ami, because too fake. Graphically looks average, but unlike the dome-like graphics silent Storma (well, our game, but not a fan), here the graphic part is more realistic. That allows the local burratnam to move and act much more vividly than in the analogue. But It is difficult to compare the Brigade and old Jagi in this respect. Jagyeda in terms of animation (that is for me, all sorts of movements), easily will make any modern analogue. In Terms of voiceovers the Brigade is weak, the characters communicate logically, but very few phrases. Even silent Storm comes forward Here. I liked the Music, but there are some faint melodies. Jaga is better, because there OST on the verge of ideal. Overall, E5 deserved my respect for high complexity (hi Jagam, as long as the storms). Enemies work reasonably, can easily bypass the rear, their "forgotten" to make dolls in the dash. If You do not fall, will be suitable, and if you are angry giggling hid around the corner, run not one, but rather a bunch) Can throw a grenade, and this is usually the end. In The game there is some part of the evil realism, although the Jagi do all the same analogues. A Shot of a shotgun on a fighter in a heavy armor may not kill, but is capable of a few seconds to turn it off the battlefield. A Beginner in battle can fall into a stupor from hitting, or the sight of several enemies in front of him. The Shot in the head can stun, and until the end of the battle. And It's not a fact that a fighter will survive until the end of the fight. Any protection and weapons wear out, so that in battle to monitor the condition, or you can catch the bullets bare breasts, believing that the bulletproof vest in excellent condition. There are many Subtleties in the game, it is useless to write about everything. Threat. I Recommend to play only in Bonus Mod 1.11 Final, without it the difficulty of the game grows too slow, and access to weapons for the main character can be obtained quickly. And, if you do not want to die literally from each pair of shots-Do not include critical hits. PS. From the bad sides of the game, very unpleasant bugs. The Self-made engine has shown itself in "All Glory". Enemies shooting through Walls (seldom), shooting from under textures (too not often), incorrectly working models of Technics (interfere with shooting). Well, and adrenaline happens to work too strange (s. Friend). In my opinion, it was conceived, but an unfamiliar person can also seem to be a bugs.
