Bright Outside

"Father says that the outside world is a horrible place filled with monsters that lurk around every corner just waiting to snatch you up...But I long to just be a kid... In order to escape my harsh and unforgiving reality, I created a dream world trapped within the depths of my mind, where I can be free..."

Bright Outside is a first-person exploration game that takes place deep within the psyche of a young girl's dream world. Her dream world has turned into her worst nightmare, and it is up to you to collect all of her shattered memories, face her past, and accept her reality for what it is in order to escape...but remember... Father warned you to never venture outside.. 

*Bright Outside was created by Samantha Plaisance in just 7 days as a Developer Challenge Project. The game is quite short, but very impactful, and based on true events that transpired during Samantha's childhood. This was the very first game she ever made on her own, and she is proud of what she did in such a short amount of time having no prior knowledge in coding or game development.
