Business Magnate
About
Business Magnate is a tycoon business simulation game where you can create all types of businesses: Cars, rockets, phones, tanks, trucks, airplanes, computers, ships and more. Design, produce, market and sell them. You can even run multiple companies at the same time. Become the ultimate Business Magnate (or Business Magnet). What can you do in the game
In order to meet market demands, you need to design your products so that customers will actually want them, and won't prefer to buy your competitors products. Research new technologies and design new products as your move on to fit into a moving market. For example for cars, you want to research bigger and more efficient batteries, if you decide to produce electric cars, or more performant combustion engines if you want to produce gasoline or diesel based cars.Gameplay
The game is running in real-time, but can be accelerated and paused at any time. Manage employees, track financial and sales data, start and run marketing campaigns, analyze the market. Expand your company when you have figured out how everything works and manage the production plan and build new facilities, warehouses, offices or even launch pads.

[wisim-planet.de] Even though there have been more economic Simulations recently – in the few you start your own industrial Enterprise and bring various technical Products to the market. In addition to large Tanks and Rockets, smaller Computers or mobile Phones can also be produced.
To start producing, you first have to create the Product. This is done by Selecting different Components. Depending on the Quality of these, the Final Product will be better or worse. In The beginning, relatively spartan Products are usually brought to the Market. The more you research new Techniques, the better the following Generations will get. Different Buildings are needed to run smoothly. In addition to Offices for marketing gurus, Managers and Researchers, production Halls and Warehouses. Larger products require Delivery Areas, for example, where finished Cars and Tanks are stored – until they are sold. For each Type of Building, there are different Sizes, which accordingly offer more Capacity and cost more.
Despite building, the Game is mostly text-based. So you have to order raw Materials or Components in various Menus, take care of Marketing, hire People, Borrow or look at Statistics. The Menu is mostly clearly structured, but you could save yourself a few Clicks. For example, a separate Button on the Left of The interface would be attached to ordering raw Materials and Components. The Same goes for Creating a new Product. Such an important Feature is a Subpoint in the "Production" menu. A few Tweaks certainly wouldn't hurt.
What quickly annoyed me is the too small map size. Especially when Building larger Products, it quickly becomes too small. Unfortunately, I didn't find an Option like "Buy Extension." You can set up Subsidiaries and have your own card with your own Property for them, but a Company cannot own a larger or several Plots of Land. What a pity! The biggest Criticism, however, is the far Too long waiting Times for raw Materials to Be delivered. Did that cost me a lot of Money and Nerves!
For example, a Tank needs 2000 Metal. If I want To order the Maximum of 80000 Metal, it takes about 12 Days. During this Time, however, I could produce Hundreds of tanks with 2-3 larger Production Halls. What?! Even for other Finished component, I have to wait for days, even if I need few. Something that is, unfortunately, bad Balancing. Either you lower that Time sharply or you install an "express delivery" button that will deliver Orders in a matter Of hours and cost a little more. Or you can build Raw material Sources into the (hopefully soon larger) Map and mine Yourself. Otherwise, you're so busy looking at the stock that you don't have Time for multiple Products. Let alone Subsidiaries ...
Nonetheless, Business Magnate is not a bad Game. It's a solid WiSim, with great Ideas and high Realism. Technically it's top, I didn't notice Any Bugs. It looks good, the Menus are still Expandable. The Music is a bit too epic or too much in the Foreground for such a Game. Sounds are fine. The Balancing and the too small map size are really negative. For €12, Wisim fans may well strike. Casual Players should wait for a Sale. I think a short Early access stay wouldn't have hurt the Game, even if it had only been 2-3 Months. This could have saved a lot of Annoyances, especially in the Area Of Balancing and Menus. Still, – neat Wisim.
