About

Synopsis
Caffeine is a quirky first person adventure game with environmental puzzles and a touch of psychological horror.

Set in the near future, the entire population of Earth is vigorously addicted to coffee. Massive space stations built by the biggest corporations roam the stars mining minerals to create a synthetic caffeine.

You awaken aboard one of these caffeine mining stations alone. Before long you realize that you are a young boy with no memory of what has transpired on this seemingly empty space station.

Naturally you set out to explore the depths of the huge structure to figure out what exactly is going on.

Caffeine is a collection of three episodes, the first of which will be released on October 5th 2015.
Episode One is a 1 hour adventure which sets the story and tone of what is to come and be expanded upon in Episode Two and Three.

Episode Two and Three will be released as free updates to the Season Pass version of the Game in the not too distant future and will feature longer play times and challenging puzzles.Graphics
Caffeine utilities various technologies like DirectX 12, Ray traced distance field shadowing and dynamic lighting to give players a visually stunning game which looks great on low and ultra settings.Audio
Caffeine features stunning sound design from Jonathan Wachoru (Outlast) and a serene music score by Adam Klingman of Bay Drive Sound.Oculus Rift SupportOn release Caffeine will have full in-game Oculus Rift support by hitting alt+tab while in-game. The main menu and settings menus are currently displaying incorrectly while in stereo mode, this will be patched into the game later on in release week so we can iron out gameplay related issues first.

Unable to reconfigure keys to play. The game freezes with a 480 graphics card! Briefly uninstalled immediately and I move on, until the developers deign to optimize it and finish it. To avoid in the State.

Product received for free Psycho Horror Game, which is divided into Episodes-nice Level Design/setting-very good Soundtrack-no manual saving possible, if you are already quite far and then make a Mistake, you are at The Ar * * * and have to get the Game back over Start. Takes the Fun of the Game. -slightly hardware-hungry at max settings-DX11 and DX12 (Win10)-Achievements-Puzzle Elements-Episode 1 is much filled with running around and Fulfilling things Episode 1 is still quite weak, but already shows some interesting Aspects.

I did not like this game, having borrowed it from a friend. I was stuck at first. I've been in circles for a long time. The clues are unclear. We are looking for nothing and the taking of the object is completely badly screwed. We want to take an object and we send it waltzed at the other end and we lose it. He's enrolled in psychological horror. I did not understand why. OK, the noises are scary, but we want so much to find out what to do and how it works that we quickly passed on the horror aspect. In fact, the darkness is there to help. The fact is it's too dark to see anything. To finish the only quality that I find there, if one has the means of this paid a GTX 980ti, these are the graphics and the DirectX 12 that is supported. On this point graphics and fluidity nothing to say, apart from the lag shot in the spotlights on illuminated.

What do you think you can say about Caffeine? Not much! My Key Points in Postiv (+) And Negative (-) Positive: + Supports Dx12 + can be started + You can pick up things and Move. + might look pretty. Cons:-Crashes on dx12 with the Error Message that is full of my VRAM. (Whether on minimal or maximum Eps)-I definitely get too dark. -no Horror (or psycho horror as the Developer calls it)-you glide through the Floor. -No Inventory. (Things are worn before one (individually))-No Storage possible. (If you Start the Game, start over) Verdict: Caffeine is definitely too immature and too bugged. I'm glad I bought it at the Indie Bundle and not here. It bores me and I didn't Enjoy it. The Performance is pretty much the only thing about the Game that goes on to Be horror. Apart From that, you only run around and don't really know what to do now. Caffeine is the first Game I would voluntarily leave out of my STeam Library. There is a clear NOHT purchase recommendation from me. My Specs: i7 4790K (4.0-4.4GHz) 8GB RAM Sapphire R9 290 Vapor-X OC (4GB VRAM)
